Today, Comic-Con International sent out emails to those who are eligible for San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Badge Preregistration, finally informing them of the date the preregistration will take place. Read on for all the details!
CCI announced today on the Toucan blog, and via email to eligible participants, that SDCC 2014 Badge Preregistration will occur this Saturday, February 8, “shortly after” 9:00 am Pacific Time (PT). If eligible, you will be sent an email at least 24 hours prior to the sale with your personal registration code and a link to the EPIC waiting room landing page. Although you may enter the waiting room as early as 7:00 am, arriving early does not give you a better place in line, as everyone who is in the waiting room at 9:00 am will be randomly assigned a registration session.
Just a reminder that only those who purchased 2013 badges are eligible for 2014 Badge Preregistration. In other words, if you did not attend last year, or maybe you did attend last year, but as a professional, guest of a professional, exhibitor, volunteer, staff, or press, then the Badge Preregistration does not apply to you. You will have a chance to purchase your badge during Open Online Registration at a later date not yet specified. If you are eligible for preregistration, you should have received an email, but if you want to double check, you can log into your Member ID account to find out. You can also already find your personal registration code by logging into your Member ID account.

“The wait is over, preregistration is coming! Comic-Con International 2014 badge preregistration will begin shortly after 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on Saturday, February 8.
The EPIC Registration landing page will open at 7:00 AM PT for you to enter your personal registration code and authorize your device to enter the waiting room. Your personal registration code and link to the landing page will be sent to you via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the sale. You can also access your registration code by logging in to your Member ID account and clicking the “Registration Info” tab. We suggest you add firstname.lastname@example.org as an approved/authorized sender to your email account.

Please keep in mind that not all eligible attendees will be able to purchase a badge. During preregistration, there are more eligible attendees than badges available. You can increase your chances of obtaining a badge by reading all of the instructions carefully and having your personal information ready on the day of the sale. If you are unable to obtain a badge during preregistration, an additional sale to the general public will be held at a later date.
